OnChain Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password, if you register that way. If you sign in with Apple instead, we never see or store a password at all.
• Usage data you create: wallet addresses you choose to track, tokens in your watchlist, and price alerts you configure.
• Device information: an install identifier and platform details used to manage your session — not used to identify you personally.
• Subscription data: App Store transaction identifiers, provided by Apple's StoreKit, used only to verify and activate Pro access.
• Usage analytics: anonymous, aggregated events about how the app is used — for example, which screens you open and features you use — tied to your install identifier rather than to your personal identity, to understand usage and improve the app.
• Feedback you provide: if you send feedback through the app, the message you write and — only if you choose to include it — an email address so we can reply.

2. How we use your information

We use this information to operate the app's core features: showing your tracked wallets and watchlist, delivering price alerts, verifying and unlocking Pro access, and maintaining your session across launches. We also use anonymous usage analytics, and any feedback you send, to understand how the app is used and to improve its reliability and features. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third-party data sources

Market, on-chain, and analytics data shown in the app is sourced from third-party providers including CoinGecko, DexScreener, Etherscan, BscScan, and public blockchain networks. These sources provide market data to us — they do not receive your personal account information.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Information is shared only where necessary to operate the service — for example, with Apple to process subscriptions, and with our hosting infrastructure providers to run the app's backend.

5. Data storage & security

Passwords are never stored in plain text — only as a one-way bcrypt hash. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. All data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

6. Data retention & deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the app's settings, or by emailing us — see Contact below.

7. Subscriptions

OnChain Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is processed entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment card details, only the transaction identifier Apple provides to confirm your subscription status.

8. Your choices

• Edit or remove tracked wallets, watchlist tokens, and alerts directly in the app.
• Delete your account and associated data via Settings, or by contacting us.
• Manage or cancel your Pro subscription anytime via your Apple ID subscriptions.

9. Children's privacy

OnChain is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
